Abandoned Aqueducts

There’s two pressure plates that spawn at random points in the map, and if both are pressed down, it will open up a circular gate, which has two special Elder Lemurians names Kjaro and Runald. Upon killing one of them, you get their respective bands, and the bands are some of the most powerful items in RoR2, dealing incredible damage with the added benefit of having linear scaling with additional stacks with zero falloff.

Now, normally, the only way you’d be able to gain access to this gate is by having a coop buddy with you to press both buttons at the same time. However, there’s a neat little trick that you can do in solo play. In this stage, there’s Explosive Tar Pots. These pots can be pushed around, and they can be used to press down one of the buttons. This allows you to gain access to the chamber and grab both Kjaro and Runald’s Bands solo. It’s tough to pull off, though, since the pots are fairly finicky, and any sort of damage detonates them. It’s easier to do on Railgunner thanks to her Concussive Mines, but it requires a bit of trial and error to get it down pat. Once you’re able to consistently do it, and provided you have good RNG, you can almost always guarantee double bands with help from the Lunar Shop. It’s why plenty of hardcore RoR2 learn to Pot Roll, because bands are just that good.

Pot Rolling is a thing exclusive to Abandoned Aqueduct which gives you access to two ultra strong items that are normally only accessible in coop. (Credit to u/guiltyweeb)

You just have to fight these guys

You get Free Bands!

Siren’s Call

If you see a Void Seed, break the eggs because you can kill the Alloy Worship Unit by leading him into the Void Seed.

There’s no guaranteed legendary spawn on Siren’s Call nor do Chance Shrines spawn on this map.

Instead, by breaking six of these eggs, you will spawn the Alloy Worship Unit which is the only stage four that drops a legendary for each individual in multiplayer.

Sundered Grove

There’s a guaranteed legendary at one of five locations which you can easily see by the glowing pink mushrooms it spawns near.

Grove is the only map where there’s the possibility of getting a Scavenger pre-loop after the 32 minute mark.

Commencement

When doing Pillers of Design, jump to avoid being pushed back.

You can skip Pillers if you have Headstompers with sufficient movement speed & a Wax Quail. You have to find a slope and sprint, then jump at the peak.
